The actual maximum port rate of a gigabit switch is only 125MB/S, and the specific calculation method is as follows:

1000Mbps=1,000,000,000 bits/second=125,000,000 bytes/second=125MB/s.
1GB=1024MB, 1MB=1024KB, 1KB=1024B, 1B (byte)=8bits (bit), so 1000Mbps/8=125Mb /S.
