NIOX VERO Airway Inflammation Monitor Respiratory analyzer for detecting human exhaled nitric oxide concentration

NIOX VERO is a portable system for non-invasive, quantitative measurement of the proportion of exhaled nitric oxide (NO) in human breath (FeNO).

The NIOX VERO system consists of a NIOX VERO unit with AC adapter, a rechargeable battery, an electrochemical NO sensor, a disposable patient filter, and a replaceable handle with an internal NO wash filter.

During the test, the patient emptens the lungs, inhales deeply through the patient's filter to total lung capacity, and then exhales slowly for 10 seconds. After about a minute, the concentration of nitrogen oxides is shown in parts per billion (ppb).
