Description

FluteHeadjoint Features:

This headjoint was made from Yellow Pear Wood.
The headjoint will be given a medium to large size embouchure hole with a hint of an overcut and a medium height riser for a warm and with solid 925 silver rings and tenon and melodious sound.
The embouchure hole is until now just pre-cut, but will be custom finished to your specifications (no copies of other maker´s headjoints though!), together with a final polishing of the tenon and ornamental turning if you so desire.
The tenon on this headjoint should fit a Yamaha or Jupiter etc. size flute tenon (19.7mm) without much adjustment necessary. If needed, the headjoint tenon can be adjusted (by sanding down / polishing) by a woodwind technician. These adjustments need to be done on the customer´s side!
Please note, that tenon size can only be made to fit your particular flute accurately, if you especially order a headjoint from me and send in/bring your flute for fitting. In case the tenon should be slightly too loose, a small piece of sello tape on the headjoint tenon usually does the trick.
