Bi-directional Control

X100 Max this bi-directional tool can put out the commands to ECUs, read the ecu data and monitor the operation of actuators, to precisely locate the car problems through active tests, letting you quickly know whether a specific system, component, or subsystem is functioning properly or not.

For example, If a fuel pump is not working and leads to ignition failure, it could be a faulty pump, wiring, relay, or command. By turning the fuel pump on and off via the X100 Max, you can quickly determine whether it’s a wiring, relay, or pump issue without removing any parts.

42 Maintenance Functions

Oil Reset - Reset the oil life systems every time the oil and oil filter are changed;

Injector Coding - Code new injector numbers to replace the previous one when fitting the new injectors or after the replacement is completed;

Brake Reset - Deactivate and activate the brake control system, assist with brake fluid control, open and close brake pads, etc.;

Battery Reset - Evaluate the battery charge state, monitor the closed-circuit current, register the battery replacement, etc.

Key Programmer - Help ECU to recognize the new keys when you need to add new keys

TPMS Reset - Tire pressure resetting is required to be performed after maintenance is performed;

Gear Learn - Perform gear learning for the car when the engine ECU, the crankshaft position sensor, or the crankshaft flywheel is replaced. match and learn the sensor. Also used to test sensors.

A/C Relearn - operation data of the compressor is reset and self-learning is performed, and the position of the servo motor is reset and self-learning, which is used to detect and verify the fault location of the air conditioning system.

HV Battery - When the new energy vehicle is faulty and repaired, it is necessary to ensure that the high-voltage battery has no power output. Through this function, the power output of the high-voltage battery to the vehicle can be disconnected, so that the maintenance worker can perform maintenance and inspection on the vehicle safely.

Write VIN - The VIN information is stored in some important ECUs of the vehicle. After replacing the ECU, it is necessary to write the VIN number of the vehicle for verification and download the relevant ECU software. (After replacing the second-hand module, you need to flash the VIN)
